History

Neeser Construction, Inc. started from humble beginnings in Eastern Washington and Western Idaho to its current roster of hand-picked, highly skilled employees in Alaska and the Great Northwest.  Neeser Construction, Inc. (NCI) is comprised of folks who have the passion to learn and excel.  These qualities were instilled in Jerry Neeser and his brothers, by their father, at a very young age.

Construction was in their blood.  In fact, all of the Neeser boys were born with the need to build things.  By working in the family construction business building schools, churches and commercial buildings throughout Washington, Idaho, and Oregon, Jerry also learned the value of hard work and commitment.  Their father also instructed his sons to be individuals, to figure things out on their own and to apply a “can-do” attitude in every situation, no matter how difficult.

In 1969, Jerry moved to California to restart his own company and spent the next five years building high-rise structures and parking garages.  In 1974 Jerry sensed a significant downturn in the California economy, and decided to move his family to Alaska.  Today Neeser employs many of the same individuals who started out with him.  He only hires people who illustrate the highest integrity in their work.  Everyone at NCI – project managers, estimators, accountants, field personnel, and office administrators – work to make NCI the company that commits and delivers.  Like its founder and owner, NCI continues to take pride in its reputation for quality design and construction, construction and operational cost efficiency, and timeliness in each and every project undertaking.
